"Ow," says my car for the second time in the past two weeks. I got rear-ended yesterday on Six Forks at a yellow light, scrunching the trunk of mightily. My poor fencing equipment... I don't know when I'll be able to get them out. Well, me and the other guy pulled over, exhanged information, and someone at the service station we stopped at called an officer who came and exchanged our information for us. It was mighty fun in a "screwed up my day" sort of way.

He's entirely acknowledged fault, so that's good, but I doubt I'll be this happy when my whiplash starts showing up. Harrumph.

Not to mention that it threw a wrench in my plans to go to Pride this year. Yeah, the same parade I went to last year and none of my friends showed up, so I sort of slunk away with my head low. But without a car (which, by the way, the service guys say is totalled, but I'm gonna wait for a second opinion on that on), and me being as jittery and unhappy as I was and still am, I guess I just decided to blow it off. Screw guys, anyway. It's not like anything'd come of it but me awkwardly waving some flag or something.

So instead I stayed up until three last night playing World of Warcraft. And I had a helluva good time, god damn it.

Anyway, I was supposed to send my story into Ms Chalifoux yesterday, but didn't because it is such shit and because I was traumatized from the accident (and god was I pissed off yesterday; had a hard time keeping my temper). So I'm going to revise that into something acceptable to show to the rest of my class.
