It is very humid in here. And my legs hurt from sitting at the computer so much. I did go for a walk tonight. It was a little bit disturbing, actually. The street lamps would keep going out when I walked under them, and once I turned around to see if a car was going to come my way, and then someone said "hi" about five feet away from me. I probably jumped a good three feet, but it was just some other guy out taking a walk. Surprised me, is all. In other news, my creative writing class is getting weirder and weirder. First there was the suicidal love poetry for two weeks, then vampire erotica, then my own homoerotic coming-of-age nonsense (speculate all you want; I'll show it to you when I'm done), and now Japanese homoerotic furry fantasy. It's a little bit difficult, but I guess I was asking for it by signing up for creative writing. I'm worried that my comments are a bit too harsh. We all know that what writers crave most of all is praise, even if it takes a while getting there. I love hearing that Ms. Chalifoux loved my story, although I also loved getting critical information. Oh well. It's difficult. School is quite a crush. Ms. Callanan, despite being a very sweet person, is a hella hard teacher. We're reading and writing more than every year before, and my brain usually ends up hurting by the end of each day's forty-five minutes of homework. Although yesterday we had to read 20 pages of dense 1950s essay material and take detailed notes, and that almost made me pass out. I started my UNC-CH application on Saturday, and that Coca-Cola Scholarship application. I don't like it. I don't like it at all. However, there really isn't much else to do but play computer games or write, or talk to friends and what now. I mean, holy Jesus in Heaven, this year is turning basically into last year exactly, except with more work and less Kitty Wolf. What a pain. Anyway, nothing much else going on. Rodin and I are having a heated conversation about how enormously racist I am, so I should go.
